Dating references in this book and the traveling museum from the evolutionary time scale are for identification and comparative purposes. The deep time assumptions of the evolution world view do not line up with the true history of the earth as recorded in the Bible given to us by God our creator.

Peter tells us to be always ready to give an answer about our hope as Christians (1 Peter 3:15).   This is not true only for prophets, pastors and other leaders, but for all Christians.

The purpose of providing truth about Creationism is to equip you with the answers. You will be able to protect your faith when you are able to answer these “age old” questions. You will examine a number of arguments made against the Bible in various areas of science and show that there are interpretations that line up with God’s word. These will surely build the faith of believers, provide instruction for our children and provide good tools to reach the lost.

As a place to start, how did the misinformation about evolution become so popular and takeover the foundations of truth?

The well known Scope’s Monkey trial in Tennessee, USA in 1925 was a major turning point in history as the Christians were not prepared to answer questions about the history of the world according to the Bible. This insufficiency allowed the teaching of evolution to infiltrate the public schools from preschool through higher education and our most prestigious academic institutions and ultimately dominate modern science around the world.

Now God is preparing His people. Thousands of scientists and theologians have studied the Bible and worked to develop answers for about any question that can be made about whether the Bible is true and what is the relationship to modern science or any other area of knowledge. It is exciting to live in these times, and the material in the book will help you prepare to give answers to others who are open to hearing about truth.

Some of you might be thinking: I’m not a scientist or theologian. In fact, I have no interest in science or theology but I do want to know truth so I have a solid foundation for what I believe. Relax! This book will make it easy for you. It is for people who live in all walks of life anywhere on God’s created earth. Those scientists and theologians who accept the literal, biblical account of Genesis now number in thousands. They have studied and analyzed for decades since the start of the new Creation Science movement started by the book The Genesis Flood by Morris and Whitcomb in 1961. As a result, millions of followers of biblical creation are focused on answering false scientific arguments that undermine the Bible.

Over time a pattern has emerged. The principle point has come down to the authority of God’s Word. Creationism is linked to the Bible in that every word in the text in the original language is the inspired word of the Creator God. According to the Scriptures, God cannot lie or make statements that deviate from or pervert the truth (Hebrews 6:18, Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2, I Samuel 15:29, Romans 3:4). If God did lie or deviate from truth, His word would have internal inconsistency and could not be trusted. God’s word will answer the questions that we all have. There are many attacks against the Bible undermining its account of history, its internal consistency and its connection to the world we live in. Peter and Paul teach us to be ready to answer objections and attacks against God’s Word:
Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15 KJV).
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (I Corinthians 10:5 KJV).

Peter admonishes all to be ready to make a case for the gospel and to defend God’s Word. We are defending the Bible as God’s Word and the whole gospel starting with Creation. This message is from the Creator of all the Universe so therefore carries all authority with it, through the crucifixion by which we can be included in His Kingdom, to the promise of being with our Creator God and King for eternity. John tells us:
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? (John 3:12 KJV).

So our starting place is to learn about earthly things. The handiwork of God is revealed in the creation and can be observed by all. When we make the connection that God is the Creator then we begin to understand who He is and what His plan is. He has intertwined the message of salvation through the history of the world which includes how and when it was made. We need to comprehend this so we understand His plan of salvation. Our children can be taught this truth and become instrumental in reaching the lost.   Unfortunately, some seminaries teach that the Bible is a book of salvation and science is the history of the world. They lead many into error and unbelief. If the Bible is not consistent and true throughout, how can we trust it for anything especially our destiny for eternity? The objections are many and we will be faced with them every day, and we need to be ready to answer them.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 KJV).

This Scripture means more than just morality. Even unbelievers may have some code of morality. After all, they were created by the same God in the image of God so even unbelievers have a basic understanding of right and wrong. Man may have fallen into sin, but vestiges of His image and morality will still be apparent in most people. This does not prove that man is good in and of himself which is one of the lies of the enemy. The Bible tells us that the heart of man is wicked.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (Jeremiah17:9 KJV).
People have a void without faith and need to have faith, full confidence, that God is the Creator of the Universe, so that they can depend on Him fully for provision in this life and for eternity.   The teaching of God as Creator has been left out of most Biblical teaching in recent times.

In many ways this comparison of Creation to Evolution and the various accounts of origins are overwhelming. Really every area of knowledge is included. And that makes sense because if the Bible is really God’s communication to man about His plan and purpose in the Creation so it should relate to all areas of human knowledge. This is a good starting point in Creation Evangelism. No matter what topic someone is interested in talking about, if the witnessing Christian is prepared in the basic areas of apologetics, then a conversation can lead from their area of interest back to the Bible. Over the last few decades our experience in Christian Worldview Outreach has been to accomplish this with thousands of people. .

Apologetics now covers all the major areas of science and has been debated for many years. Connection can be found with everything someone will want to talk about. Do not be discouraged if you have not seen this in your methods of witnessing. God uses those who are prepared, and He uses us in the areas in which we are prepared.

Study to show yourself approved (II Timothy 2L15). As you begin studying and as you gain knowledge and skill, God will make a way for you to reach others for Christ. Many of you reading this will be leaders training others in the techniques of Creation Evangelism. As they gain knowledge, God will bring people into their paths that have the questions they are prepared for. In talking to hundreds of people we have found this to be true. Some might say that they have never heard anyone have a question about dinosaurs or some other topic, but generally it is because they are not equipped in that area.

Our purpose is to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry. Teach Christians the basics of the Bible and the foundations of the gospel itself and connect these to the questions that people have about the world we live in and science as they are described in the Bible. The Bible is the plan of salvation, yes, but it is the true history of the world as well, and they are intertwined and inseparable.

This should not be considered a scientific work. But rather we take on the mantle of teacher, pointing to the works of others in large part. However, we would note that there is a great deal of rigorous science behind the ideas we put forth. In 1925 with the fiasco of the Scopes Monkey trial there was not much work to support the recent creation view. Now there is. Evolutionary interpretations of various evidences are not reliable as they often violate logic and the laws of nature. Recent creation interpretations are in line with the laws of nature and logic and further are reinforced by the biblical truths. Evidence can be defined as facts such as a bone, a stone, a measurement or an observation. Interpretations are the explanations given based on one’s worldview or bias. The difference is that the recent creationists are aware of their biases; however, most evolutionists are not.

There are objections against all parts of God’s Word, and we need to be prepared to give an answer. All Christians need to be prepared. Studying the history of the world as taught in the Bible and comparing it to what we have learned through our scientific studies will strengthen the faith of Christians and be helpful in winning the lost.(2 Timothy 2:15) We must be watchful though and not be trapped into vain arguments that destroy the truth. True and honest science will always line up with God’s Word. It has to because we know that the Bible is factual. Yes, we have bias, but at least we know what our bias is. There is no greater attack on the Bible than the attack on Recent Creation. Recent Creation and the biblical view of science are truth rather than the timeline of evolution which is based upon “millions of years ago.” The proof of the truth is that this point of view is consistent. We may make errors along the way, but the wonderful situation we find ourselves in is that during the last 50 years while the new Biblical Creation Movement has been underway, thousands of scientists and theologians have been working and contributing to our knowledge base. It may be overstating the case, but it seems like we have an answer for pretty much every question and every objection given.

Realize that facts are facts, and evidence is composed of facts. For every fact there are multiple interpretations available. For every fact the evolutionary atheist will have an interpretation, but now there is an explanation available from the Bible-believing scholars as well. Still, this evidence based upon truth will not persuade some. Perhaps those willing to take the time can demonstrate that the only worldview that is consistent is Recent Creation, the biblical view. We may not convert a lot of hard core evolutionists. As people get older they get set in their thinking. Lifelong mindsets are difficult to change. It can be very difficult to even get them to consider ideas other than the ones they have chosen. But we must have answers for the millions of people that the religious and pseudoscientific gurus have confused with part truths and outright lies. These very people make up the fields that are white unto harvest. Often it is just a few points of confusion; a few strongholds that need to be broken down (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) so they can see the truth and be led to an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. That is the work we are called to do (John 4:35-38).
