Equipping Young People to Defend their Faith

The GLAD Convention Houston 2009

Thanksgiving weekend Christian Worldview outreach was privileged to be represented at the GLAD Youth Convention in Houston, Texas.  The theme of the convention was Outcast; you may have to stand alone.  There were over 7,000 youth and their leaders in attendance.   

A very inspiring declaration by one of the speakers was, “This is real (Christianity) and your friends are going to hell.”  

At the Christian Worldview Outreach booth hundreds of young people were equipped to defend their faith. Churches were supplied with materials to reach out to the lost.  Over 2000 pieces of literature were distributed.

Over 20 churches and church leaders were contacted and they expressed great interest in a Biblical and Scientific Creation education for their youth.  We pledged availability and willingness to continue to work with the members of this great organization toward this goal.  Many new friends made.

Playtime – Basketball and volley ball tournaments, and many more games and activities

Booths – with ministries and items to buy.

Long hours, tired chaperons

Christian Worldview Outreach is involved in several teaching and literature distribution outreaches in Hispanic communities in the US and Latin American countries.  Please pray for open doors, hearts and minds for the gospel.
