Needs in Bulgaria

Dear Supporters of Christian Worldview Outreach,
God is moving greatly in Bulgaria.  Doors are opening in many places and now is the time to move to reap the harvest.  Pastor Darin Ivanov reports below on some of the openings in schools where we can reach the people with the truth about God’s Word.  If you have been reading these newsletters you have seen other opportunities that are open.  We now have 5 apologetics DVDs voice dubbed in Bulgarian and available for distribution.  We are set to print 1,000 of each title.  This will give as a very good price for reproduction. With this effort we will blanket much of Bulgaria and have a great impact on this post communist society. We are also planning printing projects in the near future, but this is the immediate need.  A gift of $2,500 has been pledged that will get us half way to this goal.  If you are led to help in this mission now is the time while the doors are open. 

Darin also reports on work in an orphanage below.  We are in immediate need of two DVD players for a school and this orphanage for disabled children which can be purchased for $50 each.  To bring the gospel to these institutions consider these opportunities. 

Darin reports:
“We have 5 voice dubbed films that we can mass duplicate. If we dub them 1000 of each or else as the Lord provides this will give us a chance to cover all the categories you mention and more. The demand is great and the impact is serious. The printed materials are on a great demand too and very effective also. As I finish with the DVD quotations that is priority I will send you quotation about selection of printed materials. I pray and have plans for future projects also. May the Lord help us stretch our tents. AMEN!!!
Larry I have talked with CCC today and they tell me that our materials are being distributed by them in not less than 60 schools and there are many more in the waiting list that beg for the DVD’s specially. We have also mayors that see potential is using our materials wider to influence the Bulgarian youth. One more thing. Larry. I was on an outreach with people from our church in an orphanage 40 km from Ruse. I gathered with the teachers and had a long talk with them. I’ve donated from our materials for the library and for the teachers personally. The children in this institution are with disabilities and in many cases they are viewed even by the teachers as “second hand” people. They are something like waste products of evolution, forgive me for the ugly term. I see great value in reaching the people working in such institutions. If they see the value of each created life in the image of God, we would have greatly helped the children themselves. I can see that the teachers begin to see the kids with different eyes once they are presented with the view that every life is created by God and thus special and precious. I have promised to them to provide them with a DVD device as soon as I can. They are really hungry to see our films that we discussed. I don’t know if you would be in a position to send me the monthly support sooner, so that I can see them and give them a DVD device while they are still “warm”. I have one more school that I have promised a DVD as a gift. We can change the whole spirit in those institutions by reaching into the minds and hearts of those working inside as often things go wrong because of them. I think I can get you pictures from the outreach in the orphanage.

I pray the Lord will move mightily and it is such a blessing as it seems the time is near!!!!"
